David Wylde, FSA, MAAA, CLU, ChFC

As a Research Actuary, David leads efforts in preferred risk mortality analysis, mortality table construction and pricing assumptions development. He is a frequent contributor to The Messenger, our risk management newsletter.

David earned a master's degree in actuarial science from Ball State University in Indiana and a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Rose Hulman Institute of Technology in Indiana. He also holds the Charted Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant designations from the American College.

David serves on the Society of Actuaries' Mortality and Underwriting Survey Committee and participates in the Joint AAA/SOA Preferred Mortality Project as a member of the Underwriting Criteria Team. He recently became involved with the SOA/AAIM/AHOU-sponsored Mortality and Morbidity Liaison Committee.
