About the Book:
The glass ceiling has shattered. Although men continue to have greater access to the most powerful positions, there are more female leaders than ever before. A new metaphor is needed to replace the glass ceiling. Women do not encounter a single absolute barrier at the top of an organization. Instead, they should navigate a path through the labyrinth that currently exists. What are the obstacles in the labyrinth and how can women overcome them? How do organizations benefit from having women at the top and how can organizations increase their numbers of women leaders? And what does the future hold for women’s leadership opportunities? |
